And speaking of freedom....

After 4 months of work and university, David heads off for three weeks on Rarotonga (the Cook Islands) this morning.

Have a great trip David!!!



And another flippin' mouse got the long walk to freedom in our back bush this morning:(  Don't know whether to be happy or sad.  Happy that it is one less mouse in the trailer, sad that it was in there in the first place.

    I'm not a mouse person (the ones that are wild, or the ones who live in your property.)

    Funny story - I sell straw bales to a friend with 8 pets. Mice love straw, so I couldn't really help it if one of them had sneaked into the bale that I sold her...

    Now she has a mouse living in her garden shed and she can't get rid of it - even her jack russels can't catch the blasted thing.

    Apparently, it my fault.
