One winter it was really bad around the coops, but for the last few years we haven't had any trouble with them, thank goodness.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08938874724231860923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-486219060874117495.post-25265254232931096432016-09-09T21:29:20.508-07:002016-09-09T21:29:20.508-07:00Mink will also go on a massive killing spree. We assumed it was a mink.
Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08938874724231860923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-486219060874117495.post-63897713266775149842016-09-09T18:35:58.574-07:002016-09-09T18:35:58.574-07:00This reminds me of an incident years ago when we k...This reminds me of an incident years ago when we kept a few backyard hens. We heard the kafuffle late one evening and ran out
( me in my nightie, heaven only knows what DH was wearing) and we cornered a possum. Only we didn't have anything at hand to deal with it and for some reason it struck us as hilarious and we laughed ourselves sick.I don't remember what ever happened to the possum but he didn't come back.
Now we're having rats again. This week I think we've gotten 2 but like you we're having bait eaten but traps not going off. We also have bait stations but boy does that bait ever disappear fast. Either we have extremely resistant rats or the bait is not very effective, I detest rats!!Granny Marigoldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15858237999602347848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-486219060874117495.post-30783098805459279142016-09-09T09:25:18.913-07:002016-09-09T09:25:18.913-07:00Minks and Weasels will kill a chicken and come bac...Minks and Weasels will kill a chicken and come back for more blood the next night. Around here they get Turkeys. Luna looks quite interested! We don't have Opossums here. :)Far Side of Fiftyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07995757632158408442noreply@blogger.com
