The area mine were planted can get soggy in the winter when we get a lot of rain.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08938874724231860923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-486219060874117495.post-87884628979796947352017-11-09T15:07:38.262-08:002017-11-09T15:07:38.262-08:00You've been very busy!! We just cut them down, heaped evergreen branches on the area ( a much, much smaller area than yours) and we plan on covering the whole thing with plastic if it gets too cold. I had one tuber stay in the ground a couple of years ago and to my surprise it came up in Spring so I'll see how this will turn out.Granny Marigoldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15858237999602347848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-486219060874117495.post-617640015854443312017-11-09T11:39:33.728-08:002017-11-09T11:39:33.728-08:00I really enjoy seeing all of the things you have h...I really enjoy seeing all of the things you have harvested. I don't envy all of the work that it requires. You have some great garden areas the give you a lot of food. I too would want to flatten the leaves in that way as my back would be tired from doing it. Your basket of flowers look great. L. D. https://www.blogger.com/profile/02270923121962761209noreply@blogger.com
